40 Outbound Services Configuration Guide

After you have set up reinjection, register the IP address of your outbound mail

server in the Administration Console. Do not change your external DNS until your

IP address is registered in Outbound Servers. This can take about 15 minutes.

For instructions on how to register your IP in the Administration Console, see

“Register Your IP in the Administration Console” on page 15.

Set Up Private Outbound DNS

Route mail to Outbound Services by setting up an external DNS server. For an

overview of Private Outbound DNS concepts, see “Option 1: Set Up Private

Outbound DNS” on page 16.

1. Open the Exchange Management Console.

2. Expand the top level -> Server Configuration

3. Right-click your Hub server and select Properties.

4. Click the External DNS Lookups Tab.
